Headlights going out ? Only sometimes
Hey guys, my passenger headlight has recently started to give me problems. Sometimes, the light will be completely off and the driving light will be on, but as soon as I flip my lights one time it goes back on. I've also found my headlight on and my driving light not on.
Several months back I put aftermarket 8000k hid bulbs in and I replaced the driving lights with blue leds. They worked fine for a long time and now like I said both are giving me troubles.
I assume its a connection issue somewhere? Any idea where I should start ? Im going to make sure both bulbs have a good connection but past that I don't know what to check. I assume if the bulbs were actually bad they would never light up ?
Thanks - Logan.

My theory in troubleshooting is to always revert back if changes were made just to rule out any issue with the aftermarket component (even though this has worked for you for awhile).
Do you still have the OEM bulbs available to simple reinstall them and see what happens?
Doing this will also allow you to check the actual socket and see if it looks burnt.
Maybe you'll notice a loose connection while you're in there.
Basically, have the intent to replace the bulb (back to stock if possible), but look for abnormalities along the way.
