CEL Light
I have had the CEL light on for some time now and I swapped batteries. All the lights went off and I checked my AP and was getting GREAT gas mileage. Then all of a sudden the light came back on and shot down to 10 mpg average.
Here are the codes I researched
p0301 Front rotor misfire detected
I figure its because I havent changed my coils, wires, or plugs recently. but if that isnt the case I will check leaks/ and or compression
P0108 Baro sensor circuit high input
I didnt find a definite fix for this and didnt know if it was very serious
P2004 APV Stuck open
I found out this is fairly common and takes .7 hours at a dealer to fix.

But then I got some codes that werent in the forum or in my AP
p2016
p2009
Anyone have any idea what these 2 codes are or have any troubleshooting tips for my previous 3? Thanks alot.

The last 2 codes do not appear in the RX-8 workshop manual that I have. They could be erroneous codes generated by a partially compatible reader. What did you use to pull the codes?

Go the the Engine Diagnostics and Control section of the shop manual and follow the troubleshooting suggestions for those DTC's. If you don't have a copy of the manual, PM me. Troubleshooting these codes can be a complicated process, so if the car is still under warranty, suggest you have the dealer check it out
