Car Putters during high rev shifting.

I got my car back from getting the clutch put it.. As I drove it about 30 miles the check engine light came up.. I had someone code scan it and here is what I got.

DTC P0171 System too lean

Then I got a code for O/2 Sensor Malfunction or Stuck..

Could this be what causes my car to putter when im at 5000 to 6000 rpms..?
Im not sure if they had to drop the exhaust system or not.. But I have a feeling that its coming from my CAT.. Either the front HO2S or the Rear one..

I just need to know if this could be the cause of the poor running condition of my 8..

you dont mention where you are. but if you have had your clutch changed i am guessing you are at the ~50k miles area.

more likely guess is fuel pump..

but it also could be

plugs
wires
coils
and a couple of sensors.

well the plugs wire and codes would not throw a code....however if you got a misfire from either of those three the code would b thrown!

Exclamation

Im not getting a misfire code. It seems to be something that has to do with
the fuel system.. I get a system to lean and Front H02S malfunction code..
Im thinking that it may be anyone one of these.

• Front HO2S malfunction
• Excess air suction in intake-air system
• Leakage exhaust gas
• MAF sensor malfunction
• Fuel line pressure malfunction
• Fuel pump unit malfunction
• Leakage fuel
• Ignition system malfunction

Which could very well be the fuel pump..
But since the light came on about 30 miles after getting the clutch changed on
it, Im thinking its either Front HO2S malfunction or Leakage exhaust gas..

I noticed today that I was getting a leakage of smoke from the catalytic converter installation nut area..

So what do you guys think now?
