Broken under panel

So I was driving to my college today, and when the road became a bit uneven (Newer paved roads) I began to hear a scraping/screeching sound coming from the area around my left tire. After going home and hearing it again, I looked around and found that a panel under my bumper, directly in front of my left wheel is broken and was what was scraping the road, anyone know what part this is so I can replace it?

You guys see how the wheel is exposed from the broken hole? Will the replacement splash guard cover that or will I have to seal it?

It looks to me as though some one hit some thing with your car like a peice of tier from a truck (had that hapen to me did the same damige) need better pics to give you a clear answer because it looked to me as you might need more than just what the other have indicted. You'd want to get it fixed soon as this helps direct air to the radiator.

This might help too as it gives part numbers.

Depending on the damige done mostly just replace the busted up plastic as I said be for that is a must an soon most of that plastic isn't just there to make it look clean it's there with a purpose. This plastic helps direct and control air flow to the raidiator and oil coolers with out it you not cooling as it should and that can lead to grater problems. If the bumper is damiged and can not hold the under cover in place you'll need to fix or replace it as well.

You need to get under there and start removing the broken parts to determine what you'll need. Dont forgot to get some push clips as the stock ones break over time. You can find them on ebay for cheap - 25 clips for under $10 shipped.

The side shields do protect the oil coolers but they aren't super critical for cooling. My oil temps always stay below my water and i have not had the aide shields in years. The center one is extremely important and makes over a 20 degree difference while driving with no traffic. I bet in traffic it is even worse

Ordered the part, gonna start checking it out, thanks guys, hopefully it's not too bad and I won't need to spend money on a new bumper.
