is this where your HP went to?
engine year vehicle dis hp torqe
---------------------------------------------
13B Twin 92+ RX-7 Seq. Turbo 654 x 2 = 1308 9.0 255/6500, 217/5000
MSPRE 95+ RX-01 MulSidPrt x 2 220/8500, 159/6500
13B Renesis 99 engine, 280 HP
=================================
the rx-8 was listed at 250hp
then
the rx8 was listed as 238hp/8500, 159trq/5500
but the dyno numbers don't jive with 238 and mant say its close to 220
so.............
maybe the rx-8 is really a 1995 mspre rotary 220hp/8500, 159trq/5500 verus the 13b renesis at 280 hp evo
maybe at production time Mazda got the rotary off the shelf.

Before writing these threads, does no one take the time to notice that the Evolv was a concept? And that its claimed 280hp was the voluntary Japanese manufacturer horsepower limit when the concept was released? Always good to find conspiracy theory in smoke and mirrors.
Maybe I should repost this in Discussion thread, since as G8rboy noted, it appears there also.
