looking to buy an rx8. just had a turbo subaru and now looking to buy an rx8.
i was told that this model gulps petrol alot! is this true? i mean how "a lot" is a lot?
I used to fill my turbo forester $50-60NZD and uses maximum of 210-220 kms a week. everyday use, with ocassional boosts... which encourages me to sell apart from its a SUV... now looking for something different, coupe, classy= Rx8!
another question, why i should not get an rx8? (because i really want one)....
Thanks for the help guys...
Nic
PS: what to look for getting an rx8? i'm eye-ing on this 2003 type s with 93ks in it. private sale.

You may really want one, but I would read every piece of info you can get your hands on prior to making your final decision...It's an amazing car...No doubt about that...But it's important to do your homework on the 8...Don't buy it simply because it's "different" and "classy."
Couple of good threads in my signature. This is not a high mileage car. But, I do not care. It is only 2 MPG below the best I have ever gotten on any car (I am up around 21 to 23 MPG). And, only one where someone stuck their head out the window and yelled "kick a$$ car dude".
