I think I've got that oil pan issue. The oil light goes on and off at random. I haven't pin-pointed exactly when it does it, but it does it. Check oil and it seemed to be fine.
I'm gonna have the oil pan issue checked, the battery possibly switched (her start up is kind of weak). I can replace the battery myself, can't I? Or would you suggest letting Mazda do it?
I think I'm gonna get the N flash. Will that flash cover all of the other flashes (A-M or whatever) so I don't have to get any other flashes?
Man, I love this car. But it sure is a spoiled brat. :D

The dealer may or may not spring for a new battery but it's worth a try. Tell them it turns over very slowly and you're afraid it isn't going to start. The TSB on the battery does not instruct the dealer to replace the battery, but some have been doing that. Obviously, they will install the battery if they do give it to you. If you want to get a battery yourself, the Mazda-recommended replacement is the Interstate MTP-35. This is a much more capable battery than the original.
