Having a Borla on my own car and having JUST installed a TXS setup on a customer's car earlier this week, I can say that I persoanlly prefer the Borla. The biggest difference is one lightweight muffler versus two heavier units. Granted, the Borla is a 2.75" system while the TXS is a 3" system, but that is hardly a difference given the airflow of the Renesis engine. I also tend to like the Borla tips versus the TXS tips.
I like both units, for different reasons, but if I have to pick only one, Borla is my favorite.
One variable you may have to consider is that TXS also offers a free "race pipe" with their catback but it is the typical glasspack resonated midpipe and sounds like all similarly-built midpipes. You might be able to sell it, though, and end up with a cheaper overall cost.

Yeah I have the TurboXS catback with the BHR midpipe and you just need a special slide flange to pull the catback pipe to the BHR pipe flange to make it seal. Most exhaust shops will have it. I have pictures somewhere, let me look.

I know you already ordered a BHR midpipe as I processed the order myself and your midpipe will be built and shipped in a few days.
I believe your concern about the TXS exhaust to be incorrect, as they provide the proper gaskets for both their own midpipe and other midpipes. At least, that was the case with the TXS system I installed a coupla days ago.

Keep in mind the turbo quiets it down a bit.

Thanks for all the info on the rad, I looked into everything and im still sticking withe the bhr griffon rad, I am ordering the parts tomorrow, Im ordering the bhr radiator, remedy pump and stat. Still looking for a good hose kit that has all the hoses (all the ones i can find only have two)BHR used to have a set, but i see its no longer there another question, BHR pipe + borla vs TurboXS kit and cold air intake, What would be the better choice out of the two, Both will cost about the same but I dont want it to sound horrible. Let me know, all orders are going in tomorrow.
I called Goodwin and ordered the 6 hose kit from samco for 275 shipped...I had to call and ask about it though. They said they were going to add it to their website.

OK so i got the old rad out and The new one installed. The old one had no foam whatsoever. What exaclty can be used in its place and where should i put it. From what ive read just use the stuff that is used to seal doors from lowes and put it anywhere around the edges that shows light through, What about sealing around the fans? Anyone have any pictures of the stock rad out with the foam on it?

Update
Just thought I would update the thread. The Radiator I got from BHR was a breeze to Put in. Everything lines up great and its very solid. You do need to get some extra Oil Cooler line to run to the new fittings which are about a foot away from the original location but they are in an easy spot to run them to. the BHR Midpipe is a huge improvement and sounds great, The sound level did not increase, but the sound quality is outstanding (On Stock Exhaust) Havent decided what to get yet, which is what i was looking for. I have yet to see a cel do to the midpipe. If you are in the market for a new midpipe or radiator I highly recommend both of them. On a side note BHR has great customer service and Charles kept me updated throughout the entire process of ordering, shipping, and receiving my product.

Original Turbo 'd Auto !!
Yep its a great radiator. IDK if you got the radiator foam taken care of, but it does make a huge differance of airflow across the cooling fins. i ended up using 2"x2" window mount AC foam done in two layers. Works very well.
3M hi-temp indoor/outdoor grey dbl stick tape. between the foam layers.

A little extra radiator help can be Royal Purple radiator additive helpsbring down the temp by maybe 10 degrees but hey, If heat kills, 10 degrees could be the difference between going home in your car or a friends car.
I also use degreaser and clean my radiator every spring and once during the summer. I have had no heat issues. I'm in Colorado a mile high. Its a low budget item for those who are financially challenged. ( just did a $1600.00 omp swap).

It's widely known that radiator additives are snake oil. Clean your radiator? That is non sense, if you use the recommended coolant that is a waste of time.
