Any turbo rx8 in houston? AT6spd would be great

I've decided to remove the dry nos kit and go with a turbo setup. I will be using a turbonetic t3/t4 (for now).

After reading the FI section of the forum, I can't help but to give in and join the crowd. I will continue reading/researching about turbo setups and the do's and don't.

I'm looking for any AT6spd turbo owners and texas region turbo owners. I would like to try and meet them up to get some extra personal tips and advices. Please drop a line or a PM, your time is greatly appreciated.

Mike

My younger bro owns a muffler shop, I think he said something about building a custom manifold.

I'm not much of a car guy, and I'm late to the game. so i have a lot of catching up to do.

As for the turbo in the rx8, I would like to see some of the set up in person to show my bro pics and warnings from rx8 members. My bro is good and all, but this will be his first rotary project. I find him a bit arrogant at times so I will monitor the project closely.

He turbo'ed my integra, his acura tl, my first car, nissan truck (LOL), scion tc, etc. This guy can fab any custom piping and his welding skills are next to none.

i see. that's good. then you don't have to buy the kits, you'll probably save tons of money in the long run cuz your bro can make you a custom fabrication.

You should talk to Jeff if you are going the cobb route. MAF sensor placing is important.

Also if you are in the Houston area you should keep an eye out in the Gulf Forum. We stage a car meet at least once a month.

Also, OMD comes out every now and then. He's the guy with the completely flat black RX-8.

Thx heavy, I'll keep an eye out for the car meet.

I thought the cobb route was the best, lol. That is all i hear about in this forum when it comes to turbo or any kind of reflash upgrade.
