Injector Installation Help

So I was looking at the workshop manual for the RX8 to help me with my injector installation and I cant seem to find out where the primary/secondary/primary2 injectors are. I did read about colors and supposedly the primary2 are yellow wich are the ones im switching out but im not sure if thats correct.

Anyone got any help?

Primaries are normally Red - on the outside of the rail with 4 injectors. P2 and Secondaries are yellow - P2's on the inside of the Primary Rail and the Secondaires on the Secondary rail (the one with two injectors only).

You want to swap out the two injectors in the TOP rail mounted in the middle. Those are the P2 injectors.

Anyone want to explain to me why I even bother starting threads like this:
https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-tech-garage-22/fuel-injector-info-150432/
let alone have them made into stickies?

MM,

Just wanted to know if there was a waiting list on fuel injectors (730cc to be exact). I am getting ready to have the car on jacks for about 1.5 weeks and would like to do the fuel injectors at once as well.

by the way the injectors are already installed, just finishing up on tweaking how the turbocharger sits and ill be ready to go drive it. Ignition is already installed too and the map is also installed and the car has been turned on to check idle etc. So far so good.

Ramon, did you lube the injector o-rings with silicone and did you pressure-test the system before re-installing the UIM?

Yeah you are right..... I was typing too fast (and a bit buzzed) - LOL

But I am too lazy to go back and fix it.
