So far it sounds like most people chose at least the touring package with the Bose system... I, on the other hand, just got the sports package (i don't like the moonroof)...

I haven't gotten my car yet so I'm kinda in the dark because I definitely want to upgrade my sound system...

I think I read that there are 6 speakers in the basic system but have no idea what size or really anything about them... Can someone shed some light on this subject?

if you search deep into the audio section, there's a diagram of the factory stereo. off the top of my head:

rear: 6x9
front doors: 5.5 x 7.5 (could probably fit 6x8 there, but don't quote me)

tweeters on door frame: 1 inch

I'm getting my sport package version on Thur. Were you able to go to Car Toys to see what could be done? I'm just wondering what the best course of action is... New head unit + replace speakers + amp + box, or just an amp + box? Does anyone have any pictures of what a different head unit looks like in the car??? Thanks!!!

 

i think you're gonna have a rough time if you decide to install a new head unit. you'll see when you get the car.
