Rx8 "rally" stripe graphic?

Has anyone seen this before it came up while searching though ebay. slightly overpriced in my opinion but nonetheless it caught my attention. Personally i kinda like just the hood triangle portion, i could care less about the rest. Maybe in like a silver on my black car with soon to be black wheels with a chrome lip etc.

What are your opinions on this? sorry if this is a repost.

Interesting, I've been thinking of doing something similar but extending it further down the hood.

Looks really good,,,
What do you consider overpriced, alot of times people dont consider the time and effort that goes into making things simple and clean,,,

Also you would have to consider modifying it if you have a sunroof, you can still pay it over the glass, but vinyl doesnt stick well to the weather trim,,,

Except then you have a little ridge going up to the stripe. It seems like after a while it would begin to peel on the edges.

I wouldn't do it. But thats just me.

yeah some colors are nice but some are just plain outrageous, i contacted the guy and he said they do sell the hood portion by itself, he has yet to reply me a price but ill let everyone know. As far as my reference to overpriced, it is custom and it takes effort to get these things produced but $150 my priorities could go elsewhere like a set of springs, strut bar, endlinks etc its not the best bang for the buck for someone as fickle as me who might end up tearing it up after a while. I still do want the hood portion though.

Thumbs up Groovy "rally" stripes

Rotary-Dudes. these stripe packages look really well integrated into the lines of the 8 and add a little bit of extra "bling" for just a little bit of "moola"....I have this stripe package on a 2008 black 8 and also on a 2008 40th edition 8....both cars benefited IMHO...I will post pictures when I set up my profile this weekend....roter-on...

Wink

The rally stripe on the black clearcoat is Silver Metallic 058 and it was made by AutoTrimDesign after a suggestion by myself. The entire graphic tapers to the rear of the car and the hood "bump" graphic has the cuts that accentuate the hood "bump" nicely. This black 8 really gets noticed now with the silver stripe...and not just by other drivers but at a RX-8 club meeting everyone there liked it also. The funniest thing happened after I placed the graphic on this car....some teenagers followed me into a shopping mall lot and stopped and asked me, "Is that the new Ferrari 430 Scuderia?" Well obviously the kid didn't know his cars and I laughed for five minutes. But it was kinda groovy being mistaken for a $250,000 exotic....I credit the graphic....hope this helps.

I did mine a couple of months ago.. did it myself with 24" wide vinyl which cost me $30....

saw this kit on the internet last month WAY too expensive but does look good...

you can kinda see it in this photo... basically the same layout as this kit but no pinstripe outline...

Where did you order your vinyl from because I would much rather save myself $120 dollars, then order from him.
thanks
