Over the winter during my engine mods i figured it would be the best time to paint the engine bay. I will eventually be going full carbon fiber with this car due to weight reduction and because it looks badass (personal opinion) but a red engine bay will look like crap with an all black/ CF car. So I was going to paint the engine bay mazda's 16W Mica Black color that they use on the mazdaspeed 6's i always loved the color I use to have that car. Anyways anyone know of any threads of anyone doing an engine bay paint job. I have done a good amount of paint work but interested if anyone has any tips. I realize 60% of the engine bay is going to have to removed. Hoping I can keep the motor installed still.

Any DIY threads out there? I found nothing so far.
