RX8 Carbon Fender - thoughts?
I want to get the owner of Chaser aerodynamics to make this fender, but its based on interest...so, who'd actually get em if they were ~$500 in Carbon?

If its made in CF, it'll be made in FRP. Its the mold he has to make that matters. I want those fenders sooooooooo bad...but no fenders for me unless it proves to be a marketable item.

cf normally fits like garbage on our cars....search extreme dimensions or ED....in FG though there was a company who attempted to make them but fitment was far from spectacular

I really want to see these fenders made...if Im going to swap a part for CF, might as well look different than OEM.

ok maybe i phrased it wrong...the part didnt fit right and with CF it is very rigid...more so than FG so you couldnt re-shape or re-mold it.....and that was awful to see

It doesn't appear to "flare" out any more than OEM. The main difference is where the fender meets the A-Pillar and then obviously down where it meets the door.

Im working on one now imput, that was inspired by the SL55 AMG black series, i've taken the side wall and moved it inward and recut and pushed out the outer part of the leading edge of the outlet, this has take the flush outlet look and turnded it 90degrees so that the outlet is now parrallel with the front and back of the car,,, its pretty sweet and I still have to make it mate, but I should be done be the spring...
Also you may like Pan Speeds fender its so much better looking than the NRF...

i would probably go with the panspeed though because they seem quite affordable compared to other jdm brands... but does anyone know how much wider it is in the front and rear? sorry for the thread jack...
