This is purely out of boredom and photoshop... but the more I see the new mazda 6 front grill I really like it. I was wondering to myself what would a similar looking design do for the 8.

again, this is just for fun. it would be pretty hard to actually pull off given the round-ness of the front bumper, getting the chrome strips to properly flow would be a headache; then the issue of adding that black strip to the upper portion of the bumper and making that look natural would also be a task...

^^ yeah, im pretty sure they based the new lineup off that concept. but either way I would use either the OEM or MS bumper to try something similar.
