Carbon Fiber Hood
My friend saw this place [ www.driftingperformance.com ] from speedoptions, they have rx-8 hood for $299 plus shipping. Looks like it was on sale since it was $500+ before. Anyone bought one from this place before?

Just ordered one, today. Talked to Sean and everything went pretty smoothly. He told me that he will get this out this afternoon [which he later provided me with a tracking number]. I should get the hood in a week...Can't wait. Let you all know how everything is after I received it.

Sean told me, their hoods don't need hood pins, it come with latch just like our original hood. Pretty much just simple replacement installation.

Been busy, at work lately... Yeah, I did get the hood, looks very nice and clean and came in just 4 days just like what Sean told me. I'll probably put them on this weekend.

My friend, who works in prosthetics, gets carbon (post impregnated) at appx. 200$ COST for a "8X10" sheet. Then someone would have to MAKE the hood...
Makes me wonder...
