wait.. canada has a 20b Rotars?? hmmm, i live in canada.. would be cheaper for me to get one.. hm, do you think it would void my warrinty if i decided to do an engine swap for the 20b..
in canada anything over 15 years can be imported without loopholes. it's CHEAP to get a 20b import from japan. That's the loophole everyone uses. Importing into the US is a big problem.
Best option would be for you to get a 20B from Australia or NZ.... I can put you in touch from some people who might have a 20B if you are interested.... But a 20B block in good condition will not be cheap...
i hope everyone who plans on doin a 20b swap knows its just not a drop in and start her up swap.. will cost tons of money and alot of rewiring

Yeah I fancy the thought of dropping in a 20b in my 06 black GT, and if was as easy as the GSR swap in my old 93 bubble back, I'd be interested. well it looks like i'll have to find another option, the Rx-8 needs at least 300hp to the wheels to f%$k with anything else in its class. anyone know of any reliable ways to achieve this?

why would the rx8 need 300 rwhp to compete with cars like the s2k or 350z? neither of those have even close to 300 whp. a midpipe, tune and nitrous will have you taking anything in our class. and a 20b is way overkill if your goal is 300whp, that can easily be achieved by a turbo on a stock renesis engine

lol!^..... weeellllllllll.... @ ajsabidodo you want me to slap you right now or after I finish telling you the difference between a 20B and 13B Renesis? I stick to telling you the simple basic differences. The 13B Renesis is a 2 rotor engine and is capable of producing anywhere from 140hp+ (AT) to 400hp+ ( when rebuild and w/ ESEMERIL Turbo Kit w/ dyno charts "supposedly")<--- thats if it doesnt blow after a couple of months. The 20B is a 3 rotor engine and is capable of producing anywhere from 250hp+ to X00hp+ (enough to snap trannies, axles, and drive shafts) when rebuilt and Turbo'd. Not only that but if you look at the size of the single turbo producing the X00+hp it most likely is capable of eating small children and pets, and possibly cause your wife to drop her panties and throw them at the owner
Go to youtube and type in 3 rotor RX8 and if you see a nice blue one....go ahead and click on it. Or just search AngelJoeV on this forum.
