I replaced mine with the SR motorsports pulley set. They are nice, I have never had any problems in the 2 years they have been installed, but the gain is minimal.

Worthless. We did dyno them. 1 hp. Waste of money. Not to mention it makes the CEL go back on every time you reset the engine. Have to reset it again after that. Save your money, get the RB REVi + Ram air duct.

No CEL here in over 2 years with the install... your post just seems like another senseless plug for RB parts. I realize this portion of the forum is sponsored by them, but jeez.

I really don't care either way. The reason I push the intake is that it is proven hp & it is around the same cost. If he wants sound, I could easily tell him to get a cat back exhaust (Yes Racing Beat is nice, but Borla, Greddy, etc are just as good), or a hi-flow cat (Sr Motorsports or RP). Just something that ACTUALLY gives hp gains. Hell, buy the SR Motorsports hi-flow cat unit vs. their/other pullies. Pullies are worthless for our car. Dyno proven to be worthless. Alot of the other air intakes proved to be worthless (& even cost hp). Could wait & see what the AEM unit does.

I have been also interested on pulleys for a long time. I stated searching for opinions here and I went all the way back to the oldest post that I could find, then I realize that you have posted in almost every single post related to pulleys, and you have been stopping people from trying pulleys, I realize that you are almost the only one that heates them and the only one that have done a dyno. Maybe you should let some people try them.

I have been looking forward to see the opinion from other people (other than you), but looks like every time somebody is thinking about trying them, you go ahead and stop them.

I don't mean to offend you, but I would like to see some pulley posts where you don't post your past experience. Maybe you did something wrong during your test, may be not, but thats the reason I would like to see other opinions, with a dyno to back it up, a dyno result other than yours.

Your not offending me. You have the right to pullies. Go for it. I've been an early adopter of just about every part for this car. You say I have posted negative about the pullies in just about every pulley post. That's right, because my experience hasn't changed. I'm here, and other people are here to exchange information. If you look at other posts, parts like RP Performance midpipe or Richard Paul Short Shifter you have people that have always posted on those threads. And most of them have posted positive reviews....every time. I'm not going to post a [ositive review of a product that i think somebody is better off without, or can easily get a better thing for their car with the same money. I'm here to help people not make the same mistakes that I did. If you want to spend $300-$500 on pullies then by all means go for it. I will be telling people that instead they can go for parts that have gotten PROVEN dyno results, & universal praise such as the RB air intake, such as the RP performance midpipe, such as the Richard Paul short shifter. It's not like I'm talking out of inexperience, it's not like I have an axe to grind with SR Motorsports (I have their lightened flywheel in my car, & really liked their hi-flow cat on my car). I'm ofering fair, unbiased opinion on what works & what doesn't.

If you want to waste/spend your money on pullies then go right ahead. I do think people should be warned on what does/doesn't work on our cars. It's kind've like if you tell a child not to bang his head on the wall because it will hurt. Some kids just have to experience the pain for themselves. Most of us have a limited amount of money to spend on upgrades. I'm just suggesting to other people how to make that money go farther/spend smarter.

I have the SR pullies, they were my first mod and I didn't really notice a difference. I never had my car dynoed before or after (or ever). I have not had a cel or any rough idling problems with the pullies. I also have an RP supercat and the RB intake and duct.

If you are new to modding cars the pullies are kind of difficult, a midpipe/cat or intake are usually easier installs and like fanman says they have proven hp gains (minimal though)

If you want the pullies they look good and while they are difficult to install, like all mods I had fun installing them.
