Review & Pics: Black Halo Racing Radiator :)

Received today (1/28/08).

After getting it out of the box the first thing that came to mind was: perfection.

All the welds look amazing, there is not one flaw in the craftsmanship of this item.

Overall it weighs about 7 lbs by my guess.

Here are a few pics to tantalize. I will install this when the weather gets better here. Granted the real test won't be till I get a 95+ degree track day in as of right now I would feel comfortable paying much more than this radiator sells for. Truly is a work of art, from the welds, to the material, to the size and build.

Just sitting there it screams performance!

looks really good. this is on my wish list, too. were you logging your coolant temps before? just curious to see if you're going to be posting numerical data when you start using it - a spot of curiosity on my part.

Dan, It is one Sexy radiator and Cools quite well. I have a side-by-side that shows how restrictive air flow wise the OEM radiator is. I'll post it later..

Ray, This one looks like the fitment fixes have been applied to it. Would you confirm?

Definitely log some temperature with the oem and the new one. With out comparison tests it is just a shiny well made hunk of metal. Show us what it can do.

Will the Racing Beat custom protection screen fit this also? I'd hate to damage that piece of art. Wait, that fits the condenser - never mind...

that looks like the one on the right has more cores for the water to run through while the one on the left has more space for air flow.

Water cooling vs air cooling.

I'm glad you clarified this as someone might have seen what I mentioned and then wouldn't understand the signifigance of such a fine product and how it enhances the life of your engine, especially those in AZ, and TX

That picture says alot more than words.
