post cat 02 sensor

ok in the future i want to do a block back exhaust and was curious if i remove the cat will it throw a CEL due to the post cat 02 if so how do i stop it. is there an 02 cheater or chip tuning for it or what?

Yes......

The mid-cat sensor will (usually) throw a CEL if removed.

The usual O2 fooler circuits don't work - the ECU changes the mixture in a sequence, and if the secondary sensor does not respond in the same sequence, it's a code.

You can take your O2 sensor and plug it into whatever you plan on using (I have a midpipe) and you'll get a 50/50 chance of throwing CELs. Like Stealth, the O2 foolers don't work in the 8.

i gave him the simplest answer to his question. the longer version would include info i am not ready to talk about yet but would also not get him any way to turn of the o2 censor.
