Mazda RX-8 Throttle Body Spacer

Hi, I was looking into a cheaper upgrade for my RX-8. I am thinking about the
Helix Throttle Body Spacer. I was wondering if someone has put one on their car, and if they could tell a difference in anything. And if it was easy to put on. I already have a ReVi Intake system. I figure this is the next thing that's cheap. Thanks!

anoble1, one thing to learn on this board is to use the search function. It will really help you not get blasted.

anoble: welcome to the 8club! As REtali8 mentioned, the search function is your new best friend...tons of useful threads have been posted here over the years, just need to go looking for them.

As far as the Throttle Body spacer; why do you want one?
If it's to run Nitrous or Water Meth Injection then I suggest the BHR one. If you belive the claims that it helps improve power then I have bad news for you...

"cheap" and "rx8" should never be used in the same sentence

I have a BHR throttle body spacer and I use it for nitrous. Don't get a cheap anything for a rx8 or you might be sorry later.

Might want to direct the OP to the thread before he/she tries to 'bypass' the throttle all together

Anyways... there is no 'cheap' upgrade for the RX8...

The cheapest one would be to drive the car and learn how it behaves, plus you get the added benefit of enjoying the ride.
