New engine 3k miles ago under factory warranty.
Fantastic basis for a STX, DSP or CS car. Weighed in at 2770 at 2008 Peru Tour in BS trim, IIRC. Could get much lighter in STX or DSP.
Very Mild STX prep:
Hotchkis MX5 sway bars
Bilstein PSS9 Coilovers
Wedsport TC005 17x9 wheels
Car has been driven daily and shows normal wear and tear. Oil changes every 3k or 3 autox's. Regular gear oil changes for the trans and rear end. Some hail damage, mostly on the hood. NC has no winter to speak of so it has really only seen one real winter here in Indiana. Car comes with a set of winter wheels and tires for snow duty as well.

I have buddy in Ft Wayne, thinking about getting another car for track duty. I sent him this info as well as a little sales talk about why RX8s are more awesome than his busted subaru.
