2005 MT. Winning Blue. SF Bay Area (Mountain View).
It has several upgrades (mostly suspension related), engine/etc runs great,
but has cosmetic issues. $5500 firm.
More details:
74K miles, about 10k on new engine (old one replaced under warranty
after losing compression, like so many of the earlier cars)
No engine/mechanical problems at all that I know of; runs perfectly.
Never raced or similar
Just smogged
Various upgrades...
Mazdaspeed:
struts
sway bars
braces (front and rear)
underbody brace (JDM import; rare)
light flywheel
Miscellanous other:
Stainless-steel brake lines
Adjustable sway bar end links
Short throw shifter
Racing Beat exhaust
Mazda euro (mini-) spoiler.
Also included but not installed:
Racing Beat air box (not 100% sure all parts are there, probably)
The car is not great cosmetically great. The biggest issues are that
the front nose and air dam needs replacing (it is held together with duct
tape!), and the cladding underneath and in the wheel wells that
connects to the air damn probably needs replacing/repair. Also
there's a very light but decent size scratch on right side.

The interior air fan is very noisy.
Trunk remote release doesn't work (have to use key).
Interior clean but shows its age (biggest problem is carpet on driver's side; needs a floormat.)
Asking $5500, firm. I think this price fairly reflects the cosmetic and other
minor issues.

Nothing of any consequence that I know of. I think I'm pricing it on the low side just to move it, but there's nothing hidden here. If you want to buy remotely, I'm of course happy to take it somewhere close to me (your choice, your cost) to get an inspection first.
