If you're open to a co-drive, I know a female RX-8 owner who's looking for a co-drive in STX (open class). She's thinking about converting her 8 from CS trim to STX.
She's a solid driver, would be easy on your car, etc. Shoot me a pm if you're interested and I'll put you in touch with her.
Looks like Prince and his co-driver signed up. Not sure if Cline & Sienkiewicz will be making this one... Surprised the Meredith's haven't signed up yet.
Bump. First solo national tour event kicks off in less than a week with 254 currently registered. Weather.com long-term forecast is looking promising with high's in the mid 70's on Sat & Sun with a 0% chance of rain.
Braun over Strano in SS
Ruggles won CS in the RX-8
Mike won STX in the RX-8 (Cline BMW was a no-show)
Chris Harvey won STR in the NC (29 driver class!!!)

Great job by Ruggles and Mike for pulling out in wins in their classes. Harvey was flying in STR!
The class I enjoyed watching the most was B-stock. Pfannenschmidt and Toussaint were engaged in an epic battle for the top spot. Marc P. ended up being slightly faster than Braun's time on Sunday!
I told Jason I was gonna get a 48.5 to beat his .7? and that's what I got.
It was the best run I've had - maybe ever - even with the cones! the car went where I pointed it and felt incredible the whole run. I knew I picked up the cone close to the finish, but the second one - down near the turn around - must've been a brush 'cuz I had no idea.
Chike congratz on the 3rd in the MSP, you got much faster on day 2!
Thanks Mike. Put it all on the line on Day 2 and was happy I was able to keep it clean. This was just my 3rd event in the car and my first event on the set-up we used in Dixie, so there's still lots of development left to go...
Tom, you put down some very impressive times on Sunday! Without a tire warmer, too. It was great to see you and Karen again. I wish I could've joined you guys... CS grid looked empty without the blue one.
I enjoyed the challenges of STR though... running a car I didn't know in a class of 29 people. Threw/coned Saturday away, but had a much, much better day 2 after getting a little more used to how these mid-engined things like to be driven.

And B Stock ran 1st heat when it was quite a bit cooler! I was working when they ran and those two white CRs put on quite the show. Marc has to be the most entertaining driver I've seen.
Btw, nice job climbing into the trophies, Chike! Thanks for all the setup advice and ideas. Hope to see you again later in the year!
