Lightly used OEM Ignition Coils

Category: Engine - Electrical
Price: $100
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Location (US State/Canada/Int): OR
Item Condition: Used

** OK, I want to sell these, so I'm dropping the price to $100 and also throwing in my set of used Magnacore 8.5 mm wires. They are about 3 years old and look it, but work just fine. The coils + wires should make for a good upgrade for somebody with an aging ignition system. Just get some plugs and you are good to go. ***

Original message about coils:

I purchased these coils last summer as a back-up to my BHR coils. Short story is they have about 1700 miles on them.

Longer story:
The reason I bought them is that there was a late-breaking rule change from the SCCA that appeared to make the BHR kit illegal in the class I race in. So, I bought these, drove my car (using the BHR coils) to Nationals in Lincoln, NE, and when I got there installed the OEM coils to be legal.

Did 12 autocross runs and then drove home - about 1700 miles.

When I got home I pulled the OEM coils out and put the BHR kit back in. I've been sitting on the OEM coils, but another rule change came out that made the BHR kit legal again, so no longer need the OEMs as backup.

These should easily have 90% of their life left. You can see in the pics there is no discoloration.

I no longer have the OEM boxes but I can assure you they are OEM.

Asking $125.

People really never use rockauto.com, do they?...I'm pretty sure you can get a brand new set for like $100...Sorry buddy, not trying to knock your thread...I've just always wondered how rockauto is always so overlooked.

EDIT:

NM...A new set will come out to about the same price.

---- edit ---
Ok just checked the coils out on that site.

They are not the same manufactures as the original OEM coils from Mazda.
