My friend recently got a series 1 rx8, its the first car he's modifying so I've decided to help him with it. I have had an extensively modified 4th generation eclipse and SVT Cobra so I know my way around an engine a little bit. That being said I am looking for some gently used parts to add a bit of power to his car, I'm guessing intake/header/exhaust/tune is the standard with these renesis rotaries.
He has up to $450 to spend, so I am looking to maximize what he can get out of it.

you should tell your friend to do some research, before spending money on mods. Traditional bolt-ons do little for the RENESIS, especially for the price you put into it. $450 will get you no quality parts worth buying.
