try focusing on your subject, don't make the frame to tight (ie. don't have the car too close to the borders...give it some room), and try other angles. the best times to photograph are early in the morning and at sunset when there aren't alot of shadows or glare happening on/around the car. and also, turn off your flash. use an open shutter or wider aperture to let in the natural light. and parking garages have nice lighting for car photography also.
