RX8Strakes Clear Corners -Updated 7/18/09
Dont know if this should be here or under exterior/appearance section but I ordered the new clear corners from RX8 Strakes.com on Sunday and already got them today. I havent put it on my car yet because I got the unassembled ones. heres a couple pics.

I used some sealants to put them together and rubberbands to keep them together until they dry.

lol. As soon as i saw these i just had to get it because i plan on blacking my 8 and these are perfect for them without having to black out my side markers

was it difficult assembling it? like did you apply sealant first and then put them together or did you rubber-band them together and then applied sealant around it?

im planning on doing this except painting the black plastic WB

A little bit of sealant first then sealeant on the outside. i was afraid of putting too much on the inside. i put some on the outside to make sure when it starts raining again it wont get in

Will do. will have them by tomorrow cuz i need to wait 24hrs for it to dry then clean this **** out of the front of the lens

My only problem is that they look black.

I know they are "clear" corners but I like my "old" ones better because they look white.
