Yep, that's the ancestor of the RX-8, the first car with a rotary engine for more than four years when it was unvieled at the 1999 Tokyo Auto Show. Interestingly enough, the Renesis in the Evolv was rated at 280 hp and the rear doors opened independently from the fronts. The front lights were lit from a central discharge fiber optic system and the tranny was a clutchless six speed. But the overall shape and purpose of the car has changed little from concept to execution.
