Condensor, radiator, front bumper, under tray and other hardware. May find other items when you start digging. Easily a couple grand, but that's why you have insurance (hopefully!)

What did you hit?

Looks like either a rabbit at high speed or a speed bump/curb... with the passenger side. Maybe a small boar.

That picture is ******* hilarious for some reason. What the hell is a rock doing there, and what the hell was an RX8 doing there too?

Doesn't seem too bad though.

Front bumper for sure.
Radiator (and maybe pipes)
Condenser (and probably pipes as well)
How are the radiator fans looking?
How is the right oil cooler looking?

That's what happens when you try and take someone else's rock with the front of your car

Man that is brutal. But as other people said your probably looking at a few grand. Some lady backed into me last year in a parking lot and totaled my front end and just a new bumper installed and painted cost her almost $1000

Wow these cars are soft.. The main frame is bent I'm pretty sure because the air box looks a little sideways and when I close the hood the drivers side headlight is popping out a little and the passengers side is too in

A lot of cars I love my rx8 but they're not built out of the best materials... (Referring to parts other than the suspension and engine)

Well if landscaping is a new career move for you, you really should consider welding on a large Ibeam across the front of your car or invest in a Bobcat

The 8 probably isn't significantly softer or harder than any other modern car. Remember, compared to yesteryear, cars are designed to be "soft" in the sense that they now absorb the forces of impact before they reach you and your passengers.

I think it's true that cars from half a century ago were stronger and fared much better in parking lot speed collisions. (Bumpers were obviously stronger). But in a crash at speed, that hard frame (and bumper) resulted in injuries far more serious.

+1

plus you hit a huge boulder.

its a possibility that the headlight probably popped out because the tabs holding in the bumper(which are under the headlight) got mangled.
