Thumbs up New article from What Car?

What Car? Has given an excellent preview on the 189 hp 5-speed RX-8.

I quote: Balancing the ride and handling of a sporty car is a tricky job but one Mazda has pulled off. The low-speed ride is firm but not jerkily so and it’s very comfortable at high speeds. But it’s the body control that truly impresses: no matter what the surface or how tight the corner, the RX-8 just keeps on gripping.

A coupe that looks great, drives brilliantly and has practicality to boot. And all at a very affordable price.

Here is the link.

Regards from the most beautiful city in the world.

189 hp and 5 speed transmission??? Can this be right? Never heard of either of those for the RX-8. I guess the engine could just be a slightly detuned version of the low power one we get with the automatic.

That is a UK spec and not for the US. Don't worry.
