In the 2005 buyers guide in this weeks Autoweek they mention that the rx8 should get "Expected freshening, power boost." . They also mention that a convertible could arrive next year. So another magazine mentions more power coming down the pike soon.

those are some hard wishes but on the other hand i will still be upgrading 2007 evo here i come.
I think autoweek was talking about the automatic versions. To my knowlege no changes were made in power for the 6spd versions. Even if that was fact for the manual I would not trade in my car. Need a huge I big improvement for that to happen, waiting to see what the mazdaspeed rx8 can do later on down the line.
