Autoweek Mentions Power boost for 06

Hi all,

In the 2005 buyers guide in this weeks Autoweek they mention that the rx8 should get "Expected freshening, power boost." . They also mention that a convertible could arrive next year. So another magazine mentions more power coming down the pike soon.

Yeah I know, getting another 62HP without a Turbo or SC is not very easy, but most great things in life don't come easy.

I think autoweek was talking about the automatic versions. To my knowlege no changes were made in power for the 6spd versions. Even if that was fact for the manual I would not trade in my car. Need a huge I big improvement for that to happen, waiting to see what the mazdaspeed rx8 can do later on down the line.

For 2006 the big change for the car is that the Auto will be the 6-speed from the MX-5 and the hp will move up from the 198 to 212 .
