Thank you RX8 Forum
I just wanted to put out a thank you to all who contribute to this forum.
If it wasn't for this site I don't think we, consumers, would be getting the things done to our cars that need to be taken care of.
I just took my car in today to get the upgrade on my ECU and the dealership did it without any trouble. I just mentioned that I had heard about it from some "friends" and asked if it needed to be done. They looked at it and got it done for me.
I think that if it wasn't for this forum that things like this would never get done because we would never find out about them. No service bulletin had been sent about any possible upgrades.
Again thanks for keeping us all informed and keep up the good work.
Satisfied RX8 owner.
PS: Now if they could only get me some free tires. :D

Really makes you realize how grand of a thing the Internet can be. Imagine what having a car was like before the Internet - you had to hope what you needed to know was in some car mag, or the speed shop down the street knew something about it.
IMHO that's a lot of the reason there's so many VERY insane cars out in the world today. If you have a ton of people working together on a problem, you can find solutions very quickly.
God bless the Internet .

Agree completely. For me it was flooding and winter tires... I was lied to by sales and service people on each issue. I really think Mazda went a whole different way on the flooding issue because of this forum with their "we'll cover it every time" policy. I really think they were playing with a "one year" or "first time only" rule, and I got the winter wheels before the snow came down, which wouldn't have happened otherwise. Thanks guys... love ya all.

All i know, is this site was VERY important to me and help me so much with my purchase that i will be checkig here everyday. Thanks . Banana

thom- the standard response is do a search
basically the m flash is re-programming from the dealer
yea- car forums are the greatest- I come from www.nasioc.com- one of the most active boards I've ever seen- especially in New England
always good to find people with like minds and guinea pigs for mods:p
