To be entirely honest i'm not sure if this post goes here and i'm also sure you've all seen this before but I just can't contain my excitement so I have to post

I've been lurking around these forums i'd say for about 2 years now and never felt the need to register until now

I saw an unlisted price 2004 black rx-8 with only 46k miles on it. Keep in mind I know that isn't to low on the ladder but considering my budget if i could get a deal it would be excellent

called the dealer up only $11,800USD !!

clean history reports, no dents scratches or anything like that

now I believe this is an incredible deal. who's with me?

as they say, "If it's too good to be true...."
Is it from a Mazda dealership or "Honest Eds"?

I'm sort of in the same boat. Way back in 2003, I ran into a truck with my '91 RX7 vert and seriously considered getting a RX8. I wanted something to autocross...stupid me didn't get it because I sat in the back seat of one at a dealership and didn't like the foot room in the back seat. Who knew they'de be the car to have in B-Stock. Now I've had this '02 VR6 Jetta for 5 years and I just stopped by the Mazda dealer and took a hard look at this Red '09 sport model. Oh so tempting......... The salesman at this dealer was a rotary idiot. I was asking about the weight between the '09 models and the other years and he starts bringing up the RX8 weight versus the 3rd gen RX7! Oh brother, I wasn't going to wait around for him to tell me about the 4 banger it had under the hood.

If you get an 04 model, make sure it has the stronger engine.

Matt

MT is the way my friend. But anyways, GL with the buy and hopefully everything works out. Sounds like a good deal, but mileage is definitely pretty high.

It's manual transmission

I wouldn't go for it if it was an AT

Should I just ask the dealer if it's had a rebuilt engine or not?

edit: Also it's got that two tone red and black leather interior so I think it's sport package

46K is good mileage for a 4-yr. old car. That's roughly 12k a year, about average.
If you don't want it, tell me where it is and I'll buy it. That's one of the lowest prices I've seen on an '04, and believe me, I've been looking for awhile.

Thanks for the info Dozer

and yeah I realize its a good price which is why I want to jump on it. I just need to make sure the car isn't faulty or going to break down in 10k miles
