I'm also a long time fan of the Initial D anime which I'm sure many of you know about and for those of you who don't know, it's about racing on the mountain passes of Japan, to provide a very short summary. One of the greatest things is the eurodance music all over the show so I decided to make a short play list for when I'm out cruising in the 8.

WARNING! If you do not like techno, trance, eurodance kind of music you will likely not enjoy this playlist. If you're unsure if you enjoy the genre, give it a listen and you may discover your next genre that you enjoy!

I remember dedicating almost two weeks watching all of the Initial D stages whenever I had the chance; the series is just too good. I was really happy when they announced stage five several months ago. Despite stage five being released eight years after stage four, the series still uses the same kind of music which is ****ing awesome, Lol. I just hope they show an RX-8 in one of the episodes eventually.

Me too! They've only gone up against one other rotary and that was that chicks FD. You would think with how much emphasis they put on how awesome the rotary is they would race against more.

I was just doing my Initial D Playlist. I have Sandstorm on other disc, that song is a classic.

mania- sandstorm was always my fav. song to spin and run to. can't wait to get back to those hobbies as soon as my foot gets better. Guy at my work dropped $300 on a PSB headphone. I listened to sandstorm on them the other night at work. wow.

I have download all the stages and burned them to DVD about 5yrs ago. I hadn't heard of any updates in that time. I also have the subtitled Chinese(?) movie that was made.

Agreed! I love how they show animations of the rotary from time to time to show how bad *** it is.



There are numerous episodes out already. I haven't really had the time to watch any of them though, but I don't mind since I can always have a marathon whenever I have the time. I bought the S.A.V.E. edition of all four stages on Amazon for about fifty dollars which includes both English dub and Japanese audio with English subs in case you want to obtain a few copies.

I go to Initial D World - Discussion Board / Forums and they are down to the last few (may be four) episodes before the season ends. I doubt they are going to show an RX-8. Besides, Ryoske still have to deal with that GT-R R32, Shijigami-guy(SPOILER ALERT)!

The Fifth stage is airing 2 episodes, back to back, once a month. It's currently up to Episode 10 and so far has had several exciting rotary races including FD vs Supra, FD vs 370z, FC vs R32

Someone has put up the 1st five episodes of season 5 on YouTube with English subtitles and they are pretty good. I think a few have been taken down, though.

Watching this show is the only time I would ever listen to this type of music which really does say something about the show.

My friend saw this the other day in Colorado. It's not perfect but it is a pretty good attempt to remake the car.

how did you manage that mine puts it in the same catagory as the rest of anima geeky nerdy dorky. also she thinks my 8 is to loud and will kill my engine necause i am not allowed to drive fast. bummer

This thread makes me happy in all the right ways. <3 Initial D for life! Reading the manga way way way back when is what got me into rotaries in the first place. If I never saw that anime I wouldn't be where I am today
