Rattles?

Anyone develop any rattles or squeaks yet? I have a small rattle apparantly emminating from the moonroof, and it's driving me nuts. I still can't decide on whether its worth taking it to a dealer (that likely hasn't seen an 8 in the shop yet) to have them look at it.

On top of that, I got my first stone chip in the windshield. I tried to repair it with a kit from A-zone (had good luck with them before), but it may be spreading... My head hurts just thinking about how hard it will be to find a windshield for this car if it comes to that...

If I were you, I would atleast give your dealership the chance to work on it. After all its just a power roof problem not something designed just for the RX-8 like the auto leveling headlights, if you get what I mean.

I believe the RX-8's sunroof is sufficiently similar to other models that lack of experience with it should not be a problem.

Sorry to hear about the stone chip. That suxors!

I am getting alot of rattles from the change holder/cig lighter in the front. Other than that the gas tank -- when I turn it off, you hear the gas swishing back and forth for like 20seconds -- really weird!

Oh yeah! Pretty crazy rattling of the stick shift too huh?
