problems with my rx-8 some help please?

watz good i got some problems with my rx8 an i found some ways 2 solve them but i though it would b easier to just post a new thread help me out if u can please... my first problem is that my remote to open my doors dosan't work..... i put new batteries in it and went to sum guys thread that helped program the remote but i couldent do it .... so it must be broken.... the question is can i buy a new one on e-bay or somethin like that an use the same program to just make it work???

second thing is the bar that supports the spare....i was looking for answers if i should take it off or not because i thought it would b somewhat of a stabilizer but i found in a thread that it wasant an i should rip it off then another guy said it really does help somehow ......... i want my car to work the way it should so is it really a good idea to rip that off or not...

third is that my driver mirror rattles like crazy an i have met many people that have had this problem with the rx8 should i change the mirror or what idk its just annoying when i got ma sound on max an it rattles

Well I see no reason to remove the bar in the back unless you have something else to put there, it isn't hurting anything. As for the mirror, you could take it apart and tighten it up so it won't rattle.

BAD IDEA! Don't mod your car. No. The moment you start doing that, you won't have enough money to stay stoned and type illiterate commentary and questions on this forum.

As for the problems with the car, you can't fix them. Not a single one of them is repairable. Sell the car. There's a Mitsubishi Eclipse out there with your name on it. I know. I heard it calling for you. Go! Find it! It needs a home and only you can give it what it needs. Take your poor 8 and bury it. It deserves an honorable death and burial. It has suffered enough.

This is by far the best car forum on the interwebs. This thread, the one about the guy with 3 RX-7's being "happy cars" and the Lowering Springs thread...have put me in tears.

I really do believe someone is messing with us.

Remote, go to a dealership and get it done right. Self-programming an ebay-bought one doesn't seem like a great idea.

Bar, keep it unless you have some pressing need to put something else there.

Mirror, take it apart and tighten it yourself or find someone else who can. OR maybe leave yo' sound on less than max.

noe wut I mean, b? id wait & u cud put a phat exhaust can on ther yo.. maybee a sweet wing too...

1) yes, you can buy a replacement and then reprogram it. there are instructions on this forum for doing so

2) the spare tires does not provide any performance benefits. Unless you need the trunk space, leave it.

3) rattling driver's mirror is very common. If you're under warranty, have the dealership fix it. If not, you can attempt to take it apart and see whats causing the rattle

4) nothing wrong with a cold air intake. You have to start modding somewhere
Racing Beat , AEM, and Mazdaspeed are the heavy favorites.

Does anyone else take issue w/ this statement?
The guy 1)Searched, 2)Found Solutions, then 3)Decided to make a new post anyways.

Sounds like the lowering springs guy found a way around the ban.

great, he's fixed his spelling for the most part, now all thats left is the run on sentances, grammer and his attitude. lol.

seriously though, what do you expect, you claim you found answers to your questions, then you make a thread anyways. the problem with that is basically, some new person comes along and has some of the questions you do. he does a search, and this thread pops up first, before any of the actual helpful ones. Maybe he goes back and searches through some of the other hits the search pulled up, or maybe he doesnt and makes a topic like you did, and then the next guy has even less of a chance of finding what he wants to know and posts his own topic. and so on and so forth. It was pretty harsh how badly you were flamed, not saying you didnt deserve it, but just try and search a little harder for your answers. also, we arent all english teachers, even i dont ever use any sort of capitals and my spelling is clearly less than perfect, but i make a genuine effort. its easier to read...at least make the effort. good luck in any future endevours for information on this awesome site. I hope this hasnt soured you on this place. clearly home to many good people and an awesome community.
