Parts finally came in
Came home from work today and had some stuff waiting for me, needless to say i cannot wait for the snow to be gone so i can take my car out and install everything. i ordered a HKS hi power, eibach prokit lowering springs, and 25mm spacers for the rear. the last thing im going to buy for the season is front splash guards, then hopefully i can tell myself to start saving money haha probably wont happen the spending never stops with this car. also sorry for the bad picture, just the parts sitting on my bedroom floor

I remember my first big parts order too. Full set of Koni yellows and a new exhaust. Mine was in summer though so i was able to go straight to work
Before you go through the work of pulling the shocks for the springs you should also just do new shocks/coilovers if you haven't already. I didn't want to slam so i reused the stock springs and did a corner by corner swap. If you had new shocks you could preassemble them and have half your work done and save lots of time on the install.
Also just FYI, that dam exhaust was a ******* bitch! The midpipe bolts were rust seized on mine and both snapped off without actually breaking completely off. I had to pull the whole thing out from the header back and then dremel off the welded nuts so i could put new bolts and springs on.
Oh, the spacers are to push out the tire edge closer to the wheel well right? i may want to do that because i think it's a much cleaner look when the tires aren't recessed fully into the wheel wells.

i was gonna do shocks as well, however i just moved out of my parents so between having two cars and rent money is tighter than usual, i did springs on all the cars I've owned so i've gotten pretty good at it, also that sucks about the exhaust i just bought my 8 in november it only has 28k miles on it and never seen snow so im hoping there wont be any rust. the spacers get rid of the gap for the rears which i cant stand i read up alot on them and if they're put on right shouldnt cause any harm. but im hoping that in two weeks it should stay in the mid to high 40's so i can get the car out and start to work.

My 8 came new in CT, briefly left to NY and then came back and spent the rest of it's life in CT. So yeah it's been in rustville country it's whole life. I should have just unbolted it from the header in the first place and it would have been much easier but i was afraid of breaking those bolts too.
