Just thought I'd drop in and introduce myself. I'm located in St. Louis. Last night I took delivery of a brand spankin new Galaxy Gray RX-8 Sport MT. Got an excellent deal.
Never thought I'd buy a foreign car but after my g/f bought a Galaxy Gray Mazda3, I seriously started considering Mazda. For the price, the build quality, styling, options, and resale value, you absolutely cannot go wrong.
Anyway, I look forward to being a part of this community and will be playing catch-up on rotary technology. Up until this point, all I'm familiar with is Chevy V8 having owned a number of F-bodies and a Z06.
Any tips or advice regarding maintenance are greatly appreciated.

Cool. Got a chance to drive the Corvette at the GM Rev-it-up event a couple weeks ago and really like them
It drives smaller than it looks and handles like a smaller car. Even though they were automatics and were getting beat on by all the drivers, they handled well and has gobbs of power.

Obviously, it's nowhere near the power level of the vette but for this small of an engine and n/a, it deserves credit. I love driving it. Probably about as much as I do the vette. I'll be curious about your take on the chassis, steering, the handling, and most importantly, the "feel" of the car. You can rub our noses in the fact if the Vette is superior, but if you feel the opposite is true then your mission will be to make converts out of the American iron guys.
One by one, if need be. They're a mighty stubborn bunch from what I hear.
