New owner!

Hello all!

I just purchased a 2004 RX-8 (black, touring package, 12k miles) and am absolutely loving it. Unfortunately, we just happen to be having the worst winter in recorded history in our area. So, of the 3 weeks I've owned the car, its been safely tucked away in my garage for 9 days of it. I can't wait for the warmer weather to open up the sunroof and windows and just cruise!

Prior to my purchase, I spent quite a bit of time on this site as well as a few others, combing through all the posts for information. This site has been an excellent resource for me in my purchasing decision. I've since referred to the boards for information about a few details with which I had concern. So, thanks to all of you out there who take the time to post your thoughts and knowledge.

I'm still very new to the RX-8 experience, but hope to become knowledgeable to the point of usefullness to others in the near future! Thanks again for the treasure trove of information and I hope to be getting to know many of you soon!

Trig

Welcome! Im new fairly new here also. You have great taste. I own a 2004 black GT. Ive had it for 3 months now, and still love to just look at it. I was just out cruising in my 8 in like an inch of snow last night for the first time. I choose to have a motorcycle instead of "sensible" car, but I have to say my car did great (I just mounted 17's w/ winter tires). I even saw a front wheel drive Buick do a 360, but my 8 just stayed straight and true.
Sorry about that tangent. Good luck with the car, and again welcome!
