Hey guys, I am new to this forum (signed up today), and just got a 2005 RX8 that is in showroom condition. It has never seen a winter, has 48,000 original miles on it, and looks and feels like brand new. Now here is my question.........

I want to make this "mine". What do you suggest are the first things I do to it? I am on a small budget, so I am thinking either the "do yourself" things, or "free" things. Any help would be appreciated.

everything on the car can be a DIY project you just need the parts, I doubt any mod you might wanna do is gonna be free. So start saving your pennies, first mod i highly recommend is getting the AFE short shifter, either that or maintenance mods, new spark plugs, aftermarket wires, and the bhr ignition system.

You could rewire your fog lights to run without the head lights. Simple, basically free, and you'll be able to say you did something to it

 

This and look up the air box mod.
