My 8 is dead.....

Got a new computer in it this last summer (after they had it for a month cause it was on backorder). Car is about a year and a half old.

Got in it Monday and it just won't start. I thought it was the infamous flooding. Hubby just tried to start it just now, says it sounds dead; not flooded.

Waaa.......

After several reflashes not helping (I was having severe power cut outs at 7 and 8 rpms), they gave me a new computer. It's been fine ever since. Until Monday.

Hubby is going to check the battery tomorrow when it is warmer out. I go through withdrawls when I don't get to drive it.

Plugs might be fouled out. What you are describing happened to me. Warranty replaced the plugs and battery. Been good ever since.

Yeah, hubby said it sounded like the plugs weren't firing.

Could be battery if car sat too long. It's winter now too.

We have a weak battery from the factory and yours alreaaady lasted two years!

"Hubby says it sounds dead"... wtf? Unless he had the plugs out, and was cranking, and heard nothing but loud sloshing of metal, there is no way he can say that.

Trade Hubby for a mechanic.
