Are most of you keeping your cars garaged?

This is no different from any other car in respect to keeping it in a garage. You might have to clean it more if you keep it outside.

Is a car cover worth the trouble?

I've got the RX-8 cover, and it is really nice. VERY easy to put on and take off, great StormShield fabric. Expensive, but worth it IMO. Tree sap really bugs me.

Out of the three new cars at my house, my RX-8 gets the garage. Well, it's the only one that will fit inside. LOL

Mines is in the garage. It's a small car, so it fits. Like most, my garage has a bunch of other "stuff" stored in there too. It's been raining a lot here, so it's nice to pull a nice clean car out to go driving. Oh, I don't drive it in the rain either, I've got other vehicles for those bad weather days.

Mine is in the garage. I don't have a garage door opener, and every day I get home from work, I have to go through the house and into the garage to open it manually. It's well worth the effort!

Mine stays outside. We also get pretty severe weather here in Spokane (last week we got almost a foot of snow and this week we are getting down to about -20f). Car started just fine and works great in cold and snow.

Definately in the garage with the cover on. On rainy days I drive something else. I managed to fit all of our vehicles in our garage.

I don't have a garage but I do have it stored for the winter. I would consider getting a car cover because I've had bird droppings on top of my car. (you rarely see birds here, yet droppings appear out of no where!). Besides, it keeps your car in better condition, rather than out in the open and exposed to the elements.

If I didn't it would be a cube of ice right now. I haven't even driven mine in like a week, but it has been like -45 F here lately.

I didn't think twice about tossing an extra $50 a month at my apt. complex to rent a garage...It's dusty as anything here in Orlando, and NOBODY knows how to park...at least not in this complex (all college students). It's ridiculous...the complex re-sized the outdoor parking spaces and painted over the old lines black to match the asphalt. But still ppl are ALWAYS parking by the BLACK lines, not the WHITE parking space lines. So I'll look around and see anywhere from 5-10 cars parked halfway in someone else's spot just on my walk from the garage to my door alone. (sigh...) some ppl.

No garage, but I hope to have one in the next few months. So far, car isn't any worse for wear.

Pepper is in an attached garage, on carpet. Clashing carpet color, but, hey...

She bumped my MX-6 out of the garage. So far though, the MX-6 is taking it ok. What a trouper!

I live in a condo but I have covered parking and my stall is on the inside aisle, not perimeter, so it gets no sun, rain, or snow when parked. At work I have covered parking as well.

How open are you to adoption lol i want an rx-8 and a tundra double cab limited ed. can ya handle that LOL

honestly i had to choose Tundra or RX8 and that is a tough decision when living in VT. basically i am getting the RX because the tundra is around $37-$39k out the door and the RX will be $30-34 out the door.

plus i really want the 8 LOL

I love the RX8 and hate to have to leave it parked in the driveway but with only a two car garage and a 2002 Corvette Z06 and a 2003 Anniversary Edition Corvette, guess which two get the garage?

Here's a sad story. My cars have been garaged every single night for years. I only made one exception a couple months ago; I had to rent a larger car to take a bunch of kids to Disneyland. So I left my '8 in a lot near the San Diego airport. It stayed there overnight. That was the night the great San Diego fires began (the Cedar fire which destroyed 1600 homes in our county.) Winds blew the soot right towards downtown and my beautiful '8. When I picked it up the next day it was literally covered in ash; I couldn't recognize the car. I had a hanky-sized rag in the trunk to clear the windshield and drive home. This is not to diminish the suffering of those who lost their homes in the fires, but all I can say is... "Just my luck." The one and only time I've parked outdoors in like 10 years.
