Exclamation Was this a good deal

So a while back my parents bought me my first car. It is a black 04 rx8 gt.
There was a car sales event at my dads bank where dealerships brought cars to the bank to sell.
I was looking for a manuel car and not really interested in the 8 at first but i think it was a very good deal.
It is equiped as a GT i guess with:
heated seats
leather seats
fog lights
power driver seat
etc.
So my car doesnt have a spoiler or appearence package
It had 55,xxx miles on it and no more warranty obviously and it was stickered at 22,500.
My dad straight up told them we were looking at something like 18000 including registration and taxes.
The guy checked and came back to tell us we could have it at 18000
the car did howerver have a few chips on the front bumber , i assume from regular driving but i think it was good price and i know own it.
Im guessing it was a good desicion considering it was basically from a dealership.

Ouch, to me it seems a little expensive for having that many miles. Heck, anytime you get a free car, for you it's a good deal.

definitely high but why play the buyer's remorse game? it's too late to think about the price to just enjoy it.

But enjoy the car, its definitely worth it.

Really it is high i did mean that like without the taxes and registration it was like 16,300 but with them 18,000
Blue book told me it was under like 1,500 of the perfect condition value for private party

Are responses to value in the forum, what kills our resale value?

if someone is trying to sell theirs on the forum, possibly. however, the number of people who actually visit the forum prior to purchasing i would guess is relatively small so real world pricing is what is driving the resale down.
