Garage door damaged rear bumper...
I came from work really tired yesterday and it seems I forgot to pull the handbrake in my garage.
My car slowly backed and stopped by the garage door. Without noticing that, I tried to open my garage and, to my dismay, the door got stuck in "something". This something happened to be my rx-8 bumper...
The damage was not too big, but one screw of the door got hooked just above the license plate and made a dent... Well, not really a dent. It actually took away a small piece of the bumper...
While it's not a big thing, it's upseting (because I keep on remembering how stupid I was).
I was wondering if there's a fix for this kind of damage or if it would require replacing the whole bumper (which I won't do, of course, because it's really a minor problem).
If there was a fix as simple as some patching I'd think about repairing it.
I'll post some pictures tomorrow when there's light to take them.
Any help is welcome.

Maybe if some other "little" thing happens to your rear bumper (like someone scraping it while parking, for example), you'll replace it. I just replaced mine after 3 tiny mishaps occured over the last year, and was surprised to learn a new Mazda bumper cost only $308.30!

I was thinking to buy another bumper, Cut it *nicely* this time so I can reinstall the MS Rear Bumper back *nicely*

That's good to know (the price)! It gives me some hope of getting this fixed.
But I'm guessing that painting is not all that cheap though...
Here are the pics I told I was going to post (first time posting pics... I hope they go )
Thanks!
