I'm sorry I'm posting this but I just thought this was hilarious. An advertisement for a local mazda dealership came on and it said.

"Come trade in your gas guzzler for a new mazda today!"

Well, while they were saying this. You'll never guess what car they were showing driving. Oh yeah, an RX-8.

Maybe this is only funny because it's 1:30 and I'm really tired. But, I'm sure there will be someone else who finds this funny.

edit : Before someone jumps on me about the gas thing. I'm HAPPY WITH MY RX-8 and something like gas prices won't change that.

Maybe they were tryin to promote their flagship model as most car companies in advertisements like to show their top of the line models.....plus its advertisement for the 8!! whoo hoo haha. Since he 8 rarely gets any ad space, its not bad that the dealer using hte 8 picture. haha, gets people intrigued too like what is that car? haha

A good majority of the add was the RX-8 driving. It was pretty cool. I guess if you get the 24 mpg highway, it is better than most trucks and SUVs and stuff.

So maybe it wasn't as funny as I thought looking back on it when I'm awake. Haha.

lol...yea, there is a sense of irony to it.

I guess trading in your lamborghini, ferrari or viper would yield a generous jump in MPG...by 3-4.
