Fear of Buying a Slightly Used RX8

Looking at an '09 w/ only about 8000 miles on it. My fear is that it was not broken in properly. When I had my '04 I was overly fanatical about the break-in. Am I being too concerned and should I just relax, get it drive it like I stole it?

Just relax man, the 09+ should be very forgiving and I have read that break in is not as significant on a rotary so.......................

Just buy it, premix a little and don't worry.

You still have the 8 Year/100,000 Mile warranty if anything. So shoot for it.

the 2009+ engine (Series II Renesis) is redesigned and addresses (supposedly, time will tell) the issues the 2004-2008 (Series I Renesis) suffered from.

Don't worry 'bout it. Some very smart people don't believe the break-in procedure is important and even claim it's better to break it in as you will continue to drive it for the life of the motor.

With the extra oil injector on the '09s, is pre-mixing really necessary?
