Factory Satellite Radio in an '04 Question
Hi Guys,
I have an '04 with the factory Bose unit, and want to add an '05+ Bose unit with satellite capability....I know that I have to purchase the satellite interface as well, but will the '05+ Bose unit plug rite in to my '04, and will the display function properly as well?
Also if anyone has a Bose satellite unit and would part with it let me know.
Thanks,
-Mark

The only difference should be the sat/mp3 interface plug-in on the 05', everything else should be the same. My question though, how would you control the Sirius unit. The 04' doesn't have the steering control capability right?

The '04 has the "Mode" button to switch between sources, and the "Up" & "Down" arrow keys for track/station skipping just like the '05+ have...plus, if need be the Sirius channels could be controlled directly from the head unit.
