Exhaust Backfire at idle?

I just noticed this today, I was waiting outside for my friend, and i heard a thumping noise coming from the rear. I got closer and notice the exhausts are backfiring at idle? I don't know how long this has been going on, and whether this is normal or not. Im going to the dealership tomorrow.

That was a joke. There are no exaust valves. The rotory might backfire a little, it's no big deal.
