Going to get my '08 this weekend.. Which color?
Galaxy Grey
Brilliant Black
Velocity Red.
oh and as as a bonus color, how about metropolitan Grey?
Those are whats left in the region.. I really really wanted Sunlight Silver, but thats not gonna happen..
So... any suggestions?
By the way, how does that red and black leather interior hold up? There is a black one with that interior available..
Also what about the tan leather with the black? Sounds delicious.. but how does that one hold up as well?
thanks

Brilliant Black with Red/Black interior. I have the red/black interior but in a VR. I think it looks ill in a BB. And you don't have to worry about its quality, I have yet to see a worn down red/black interior. I always use leather care and it always looks just as new.
You're right, I never see your color.

too many shades of gray. If gray was cool, we'd all be watching black and white tv, and using the original gameboy.
Mazda needs to put out more striking colors. The Ti was a really nice color when the RX8 first came out, it's now gotten old and common.
It really doesn't matter which you pick, any will be good. I assume if you're getting an 08, you're getting a really deep discount, since they're offloading them to make room for the 2009 units....

Black is really nice...but super hard to keep clean. I was washing my Stealth weekly and it got really annoying.
Red I am not a fan of at all. You can make a Red car look good...but it just isn't my thing.
And mysql is right...we have too many grey cars. Out of all the greys and silvers though...Metropolitan is the best of the bunch. However...I am really not a fan of the Cosmo Red interior that it comes with.

Don't limit yourself to factory interior color choices! Aftermarket leather is available at good quality and reasonable price. You can do the factory 2-tone approach in just about any color combo you choose. If you buy Sport Package, you save enough to pay for the leather and then some. It's a good way to go unless you've got to have a sunroof or Nav unit.
FWIW I voted for Galaxy Grey, out of that limited selection. To me, red seems cheap unless it's super-high quality paint job and a car that has the right lines for it. Black is just a total PITA to own, imo.

No offense to anyone, but I can not stand the look of an 8 in any shade of gray or silver. I personally think it's kind of ugly. Of course I voted for VR. It's classic and sexy. For a sports car you really can't go wrong with red. Second choice would go to black. Black makes these cars look stealthy, plus if you like chrome I think black looks the best with chrome accents.

Red is classic? You don't get more classic than silver. Just about every concept car shows up in silver. This also makes it the most widely used color. I'm not a silver fanboy, My car is silver only because this was the only car the dealer had with the options I wanted.
